The “family matter” that kept Courteney Cox away from the set of her new comedy Cougar Town has apparently been all taken care of, whatever it was (is?). Production of the show was shut down last Friday, but a source confirmed today that Courteney and cast are taking the week off for Thanksgiving, but then they’ll be back to work.No one’s saying anything about what the issue was, but we’re just happy that everyone seems to be healthy and doing fine. We’re guessing whatever the family matter was wasn’t too, too bad, since husband David Arquette was supposedly at work on his indie film The Land of the Astronauts for the past 2 weeks.
A source told E! News that the actor has been working and there aren’t any “apparent” family issues going on. “David is a pro and seems to talk to his family often,” the source said.
